Rob qualified in 2011. His previous experience includes working at James Cook Hospital as a Senior House Officer in maxillofacial surgery and the community dental service. These roles gave him invaluable experience helping patients with additional needs, dental phobias, and young children.
Rob has completed an 18-month postgraduate Orthodontic Diploma and especially enjoys providing lifelike private dentures as well as straightening smiles with Invisalign and fixed orthodontics. His aim is whether provide high quality, gentle dental care to all patients whether they have all of their teeth or none.
Outside of the surgery, he is on the board of the Faculty General Dental Practice (UK) Northern Division. He enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his two young boys and wife.
David is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (Edinburgh). He focuses increasingly on dental implantology and a broad range of general treatments. He’s committed to ongoing learning and also supports graduate dentists in their early careers.
Paul joined Kingsgate Dental in April 2023 and brings a warm, professional approach to patient care. A Newcastle graduate, he has additional training in teeth straightening, veneers, and root canal treatment, holding a Diploma in Endodontics.
Joanna qualified from Newcastle in 2011 and has a special interest in root canal treatments, Invisalign Go, and facial aesthetics. She’s currently working towards her Level 7 diploma in aesthetics. Outside work, she’s a mum of two, married to a fellow dentist and enjoys gardening and knitting.
Joe qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Newcastle University in 2018 . He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in root canal treatment. Away from work, Joe enjoys the outdoors and is always looking to try different outdoor pursuits.
