Dental Bridges

Do you have a small denture that you hate wearing? Have you been told you aren’t suitable for dental implants? Do you have an old bridge that needs replacement? Why Dental Bridges?

A bridge is sometimes used to replace a missing tooth, often when dental implants or dentures are not possible or desirable. A false tooth, usually made out of cosmetic ceramic material, is permanently attached to one or both teeth either side of the gap.

Replacing missing teeth not only improves things inside your mouth but it can have a major impact on the structure of your face, helping to improve your overall appearance and confidence.

A bridge is a replacement for one or more missing teeth. It is a good solution if you don’t have many missing teeth, or if your missing teeth are all on one side of your mouth. It is important to replace missing teeth to prevent your remaining teeth from drifting into the empty space, as well as to restore the appearance of your smile.

Your Dentist will have a chat with you about your goals and make a full assessment of the tooth replacement needs. From this they will be able to discuss your best options, including costs and timescales, to help you make an informed decision.

“I’ve never been a fan of going to the dentist after a bad experience. Another dentist made me bridges that made my front teeth look like piano keys. After getting to know David and the team I was finally confident to start work on my front teeth. I am so happy with the end result, I feel like the old me again! I smile all the time, I don’t try to hide my mouth. I will happily have my photo taken and finally have my confidence back! Thank you very much David and the team for making me feel great again.”

Our Recent Reviews

review rating 5  Kingsgate dental practice is the best practice I have ever been to. Really efficient and helpful in every aspect of the treatment. David offered me the best treatment for what was within my price range and he was very explicit in explaining every step of the procedure to me so I fully felt like I was involved in what was happening and understood it completely. The other members of staff which work here are fantastic and very professional and polite they're down to earth and approachable I found that they bent over backwards to help me in any way they could and I really felt cared for and that the team helped me.

review rating 5  I have recently joined Kingsgate and have since brought my young daughter, husband and parents all to become patients. I feel like our needs and wants are always put into consideration and discussed. My daughter has always been nervous at other dentists but the team here are great - she now loves to visit and talks about David every time she brushes her teeth (also great to use David as leverage when she doesn't want to brush them!) Would highly recommend them

review rating 5  I have recently returned to Kingsgate after a few years After a routine check up in September 2019, I mentioned to Michelle about how I hated my “wonky” teeth. After a lengthy discussion with David I decided to go ahead with having them straitened. I have nothing but praise for everyone in the practice, they all eased my nerves and made me feel part of their “family”. After only four months of treatment, I now have straight teeth just in time for my wedding. Thank you so much
